The Marketing & Insights team at Gunpowder & Sky is seeking a hard-working, fast-learning intern to assist our team in a variety of social media marketing needs. We encourage our interns to be creative and hands-on in every project they are a part of, allowing for room to learn and grow their skillsets. Our team consists of individuals from various media and entertainment backgrounds, allowing for a diverse work environment that never gets boring. Our interns will gain experience and valuable connections at a rapidly-growing Hollywood studio keen on disrupting the current media landscape. Love of social media required - ability to function in social settings not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
• Will assist in company's social account management, including content programming & scheduling, drafting post copy, and social engagement research and reporting
• Will assist with paid social marketing campaign management, reporting & analysis
• Will be tasked with completing and presenting research reports on the social impact & reach of potential clients
• Will participate in weekly meetings and creative brainstorms
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starting, detail-oriented team player. They can follow direction well but also feel comfortable coming to the table with ideas of their own. While they have a passion for social media marketing, they desire to learn more about entertainment marketing and the other aspects that play a role in the holistic marketing cycle. They should have some knowledge & experience in copywriting and/or creative writing, ideally for social.
Requirements:
• Must be currently enrolled in a related degree program and eligible to receive school credit.
• Must have reliable mode of transportation.
• Must be available beginning January 2019 through May 2019 for at least three (3) days per week, or a weekly total of 24 hours.
-Ideally, two (2) full days from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. (with an hour lunch break), with remaining hours divided between two (2) half days
