Development Internship (Scripted)
Our creative development department is seeking interns eager to learn about the development process in both Film and TV. This isn't an ordinary development internship where you just sit in a room all day writing coverage. We encourage our interns to take an active role in their internship. There will be opportunities to collaborate with the development team, learn about the industry outside of a classroom through ''quizzes'' (hopefully that word isn't too triggering), create and present a sample pitch, and experience life from inside a digital-first studio.
Responsibilities:
Read and prepare script coverage, research for projects in development, provide feedback on projects in both development and post-production, and more.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, professional, detail-oriented, friendly, and fluent in Microsoft Excel & Word. A strong interest in film & TV development is a must.
Requirements:
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a degree related program and eligible to receive school credit. This internship is unpaid. Candidates must have reliable transportation and available to start September through December 2018 for at least 2 days per week (T/Th or M/W/F), 10:00am - 6:00pm (hour lunch break).
Applications for Development Internship (Scripted) due by 08/03/18.
