The Group of Fifty is a network of forward-thinking Ibero American CEOs committed to global leadership in both business and philanthropy. We're seeking a hungry and creative individual that is eager to work hand in hand with the CEO of our fast-growing organization, learning the ins and outs of small business management, and producing world-class content to communicate and engage with our members. The ideal candidate will be fully bilingual (English/Spanish), highly organized, creative, entrepreneurial, and excited to work in a small team with a startup environment. Some domestic and international travel will be required.
Tasks:
Organizational/Administrative
Manage CEO's schedule and professional relationships
Plan and book meetings and travel for CEO
Help generate and enforce timelines and deadlines for various projects
Provide broad administrative support to other components of the organization
Content Creation
Prepare engaging presentations, sales documents and support in the generation and design of various materials
Draft and edit a range of materials in Spanish and English including but not limited to emails, articles and newsletters, sales presentations, and member communications
Review, evaluate, edit and occasionally translate materials written by other team members or contractors.
Work on design software to ensure that all external documents are professionally designed to meet G50 brand standards.
Help update and maintain G50 website and other communication platforms.
Help think of engaging ideas, panels or potential guest speakers for our annual forum.
Sales/Business
Work directly with CEO on creating a sales outreach strategy, including: 1) Researching and presenting potential target contacts; 2) Determining sales landmarks; 3) Analyzing progress made
Reach out to target contacts on behalf of CEO prior to meetings and conference calls.
Prepare background information on key industry figures for CEO's meetings
Ensure every call and every email is returned in a timely and appropriate manner with the help of CRM software
Data entry and tracking
Qualifications:
Outstanding communication skills and writing ability in both English and Spanish (candidates to be tested in both languages)
Project management skills are a must
Extremely organized with great attention to detail
Strong computer literacy. Candidate must be able to use Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and be able to quickly learn other software or web applications as needed.
Keen eye for design. Proficiency with Adobe Suite highly preferred (InDesign, Photoshop)
A bachelor's degree
A valid U.S. work permit is required
