VP, Labor Relations
JOB BRIEF
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Labor Relations to lead our Labor Relations department. This role is the outward face of our company to the entertainment labor union community and will play an essential role in ensuring our company is a respected and trusted organization. By providing accurate and authoritative guidance to clients on all manner of labor-related questions this role is critical to the client experience and the overall success of the business. Drawing on years of entertainment payroll and labor experience a successful candidate will have answers to common questions at their fingertips while also knowing the best resources to tap to get quick answers to questions they aren't familiar with. We promise speed and accuracy to clients and this promise is critical throughout the organization and this role will lead these efforts for their department. Experience in Entertainment Payroll and Labor Relations is required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
-Manage the Labor Relations department ensuring that all responsibilities (contract setup & maintenance, client inquiries, audits, etc.) meet GreenSlate service levels
-Report to executive leadership on Labor Department performance and industry updates
-Interface with union and benefit agency representatives to provide timely guidance and resolution to inquiries
-Liaison with clients to answer labor-related questions
-Develop and maintain relationships with labor organizations, including unions, guilds, and AMPTP including observing industry negotiations as needed
-Oversee union audits to ensure contract compliance and support the internal Labor Relations team as well as our clients
-Provide critical quality assurance oversight related to union wage and benefit payments
-Support the payroll team by quickly responding to any questions or issues that arise as they pertain to the system calculation of union rules and benefits
-Focus on continuous improvement of Labor Relations contract integrity
-Participate in VIP client meetings and support prospective client presentations
-Monitor multiple industry resources to ensure GreenSlate is always up to date with union CBA changes
Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience in entertainment payroll and labor relations
-Decisive & Efficient - Able to cut through complexity and vagueness to make well-thought-out decisions
-Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with various labor organizations
-Accurate, with strong attention to detail
-Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze labor market trends and provide recommendations to management.
-Team player who can collaborate across multiple departments
-Assertive with a strong client focus
-Ability to deal with high volumes and work under pressure
-Driven, friendly, and approachable

Salary Range:
$175,000.00 to $200,000.00 USD annually
