Based in New York City, GTN, a United Talent Agency Company is seeking a motivated and dedicated Administrative Assistant to support the accounting department in the Speakers division. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for a variety of day-to-day administrative tasks and will be expected to have extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 suite, Box in a PC environment. There is room for growth for the ideal candidate within the Speakers division.
Entry-level administrative and accounting tasks including account administration, data validation, and payment processing support
Administrative duties include answering phones, managing contacts, meeting and schedule coordination, scanning, heavy letter writing and email correspondence
Managing expenses and payments
Obtaining vendor service information including requesting payment information, w9's etc.
Other special projects as assigned
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university required
One year of prior experience in an office environment or recent graduate from a related field
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (including Excel), Box, Slack, and some experience in any accounting programs
Excellent customer service and follow-up skills
Possesses stellar communication and writing skills
Well-organized, able to work with deadlines
Strong problem solving, listening skills
Self-starter with a proven ability to take initiative
Must be hard-working with the ability to maintain a great team attitude
