Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Acquisition
GRB Entertainment is an established producer and distributor of highly-rated, long running programming for networks worldwide. In 2009 the company was recognized for its commitment to excellence when its A&E series, Intervention, received the Emmy® Award for Outstanding Reality Program. GRB develops, produces, packages, deficit finance content for linear, digital, OTT platforms, brands and distributes a library of 3,500 hours of programming internationally.
GRB is currently seeking a Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Acquisition to join its growing team in Los Angeles. This position will report to GRB's COO.
The ideal candidate will be highly responsible, highly organized, adaptable, detail-oriented, self- motivated, able to thrive in an energetic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and possess outstanding leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
The Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Acquisition will be responsible for managing the profitability and growth of GRB's distribution arm. The core responsibility is to maximize revenue from the distribution of 3,500 hours+ of non-scripted and scripted content spanning all genre including crime, lifestyle, science, docu-series, sports, movies and drama series. The Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Acquisition will be responsible for acquiring content across unscripted and scripted and also identify, develop and implement sales and acquisition strategies to maximize opportunities for sales internationally and domestically across all media rights. Additionally, the Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Acquisition will manage, motivate, and lead 1 VP, 4 Directors, 1 Manager level executive and will have the opportunity to increase the team based on growth strategy implemented.
The successful candidate will be well established within the international television sales and distribution industry and will have an excellent professional reputation with at least 10 years of experience in the business of television sales and acquisitions. The top candidate will be a dynamic, highly motivated sales executive, with outstanding negotiation, leadership, strategic and analytical skills.
