The Job:
Marketing Assistant / Office PA needed for a boutique production company. This candidate will work closely with our founder (comedian, actor, writer) who can be regularly seen on numerous networks including Showtime, HBO, and Netflix.
We are looking for someone who is highly organized, social media savvy, creatively driven, and comfortable balancing both marketing responsibilities and administrative support. Video Editing and Comedic Timing are a must.
Ideally this candidate would work 2 - 3 days each week (6 - 8 hours each day). This is a hybrid position based in either New York City or Los Angeles. The role is primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings, productions, or events.
The Daily:
-Edit short-form videos, clips, and marketing materials using editing software/apps
-Capture behind-the-scenes photos/videos at virtual and in-person comedy shows, productions, and events for social media use
-Support company and founder's social media presence across Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter/X
-Create, schedule, and publish engaging social media content and assist in developing platform-specific campaigns
-Assist with newsletter creation, formatting, and distribution to thousands of subscribers
-Help brainstorm marketing strategies, engagement goals, and content ideas that support company and talent growth
-Track social media engagement, analytics, and campaign performance
-Provide administrative and personal assistant support including scheduling, calendar coordination, email management, research, data entry, and general office organization
-Assist with production, event, and talent coordination as needed
The Essentials
-Video Editing and Comedic Timing are a must.
-Social Media and Administrative experience are a must.
-Experience with CapCut and/or other editing software/apps
-Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Be detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Willing to take initiative, problem solve, and offer creative solutions
-Must have a strong interest in social media marketing, entertainment, comedy, and digital content
-Experience with Canva, Squarespace, and Mailchimp
-Experience with social media platforms, specifically Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter/X
-Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
-Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
-2+ years experience in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Entertainment, Advertising, Administrative Support, or similar background
Salary/Benefits
$21.00 - $25.00 /hour USD
Part-time, hourly position to start with full-time potential.
