Creative Director / Art Director / Copywriter - National TVC
Grand Street Media
Remote, USThis is a Freelance Job
Deliverables: Concept development, scriptwriting, and storyboarding for a brand film and :30 broadcast spot - production-ready for handoff.
The Work
We're looking for a senior-level creative - or a tight creative team - to concept, write, and storyboard a national TV spot for a global brand. The work needs to arrive production-ready: scripts locked, boards polished, and a clear creative vision a director can run with.
You won't be starting from zero. There's an established campaign platform, an existing ad campaign, and a produced radio spot already in market. You'll receive a full creative brief and supporting materials to work from. The job is to take that strategic and creative foundation and elevate it into film.
The deliverable is dual-purpose: a longer-form brand film with the ability to cut down to a :30 broadcast spot. Same shoot, same footage, same story - the edit is the difference. The concepting and scripting need to be built with both formats in mind from the start, so the narrative holds at full length and still hits at :30.
This is not a digital-first or social-first brief. This is broadcast. The thinking, craft, and ambition need to reflect that.
What We Need
Concepting - Big, campaign-worthy ideas that build on an existing creative platform. Not starting from scratch - extending and elevating what's already in motion.
Scriptwriting - Tight, emotionally intelligent scripts built to work at both brand-film length and :30 broadcast. The structure has to support both cuts.
Storyboarding - Presentation-quality boards that communicate tone, pacing, and visual direction clearly enough for a production company to bid and plan against. Boards should reflect how the story scales across both formats.
Mandatory Requirements
A reel that proves it. We need to see produced TV commercials and brand films - not spec, not digital cutdowns. National broadcast spots with high production value.
US + International work. The brand operates globally. Your reel must reflect experience producing for both US and international markets. Cultural fluency matters.
High production value. This is a premium brand. The work in your portfolio should reflect the level we're aiming for - cinematic craft, not commodity content.
Dual-format experience. You've built spots that live as both long-form brand content and tight broadcast cuts. You understand how to write and board for editorial flexibility.
