Intern - Development

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Grand Electric seeks driven, enthusiastic interns for Summer 2016. The company, owned and operated by Eric Newman (NARCOS on Netflix, Robocop (2014), Children of Men (2006), has a wide array of film and TV projects in various stages of development and production. Grand Electric just wrapped production on the new Will Smith movie for Netflix. Ideal candidates will exhibit passion for narrative development, strong analytical skills, effective written and verbal communication, resourcefulness, a ''no task too small'' attitude, and a sense of humor.

Responsibilities include: script coverage, conducting research, following through on project-specific assignments, answering phones, helping with administrative tasks, and running errands. Possession of a car is strongly preferred. Interns shall receive college credit.

Please send a résumé, cover letter, and sample coverage of a script. If you do not have script coverage experience, any strong writing sample will do. Please do not send your own scripts as a writing sample.
