Junior Product Placement Associate

Full Time Job
The Junior Associate position provides the opportunity to learn about and become involved with culture marketing initiatives in the entertainment industry. The company is a fast-paced marketing firm, with nationally recognized clients. We are looking for energetic, self-motivated individuals who want to grow with us. You must be computer savvy and have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a busy environment. Only Los Angeles based candidates will be considered. This position is considered a marketing training position and reports directly to the management team. It involves working directly with the Product Placement department. Some travel is required.

General Job Description:
• Researching and identifying new productions, opinion leaders and industry areas of opportunity
• Scan traditional and online content for product placements and document results.
• Preparing and managing outreach contact lists and tracking overall product and infrastructure distribution
• Updating weekly events calendars and outreach databases.
• Responsible for boxing and facilitating sending product via Fed Ex, messengers & personal deliveries.
• Assist third party event logistics team when required.
• Appropriately assisting on site at events facilitating other event related needs.
• Attending and contributing to departmental and company staff meetings as well as any other company required events, conferences, brainstorming meetings, etc.
• Coordinating with the internship program to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• General office assistance with answering phones, covering desks and other office-related duties.
• Utilizing the company vehicle to facilitate deliveries and pick-ups.
• Following basic office policies and procedures as outlined by HR and found in the employee handbook.

An ideal candidate should have:
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• An interest in marketing specifically in the areas of entertainment and product placement
• Ability to problem solve and multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work outside of the 9-5 realm.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Possess a strong work ethic, organization skills, and take initiative.
• High proficiency in the complete Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) and excellent understanding of utilizing online and network-based tools for research purposes.
• Ability to conduct themselves in the highest quality standards in all public settings.
• Hard worker and driven, with a good attitude when it's necessary to get your hands dirty.
• Works well on a team
• Previous on-set experience a plus, but not required.

This is a hybrid full time position, working in the office approximately 3-4 days a week.
