This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
We're seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media/Content Production Intern to join our team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about music, content creation, and digital storytelling. The ideal candidate will assist with building out our social media presence, producing content for various platforms, and contributing to the production of the GoodTalk Show podcast. The position also includes some general office tasks to keep the creative wheels turning!
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and executing social media strategies for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter.
Produce, edit, and design content, including video clips, promotional graphics, capture behind-the-scenes footage of GoodTalk events, content shoots, video shoots, photoshoots, concerts, and more.
Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media and The GoodTalk Show episodes using tools like Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
Help with podcast/show production, including shooting behind-the-scenes content, and producing ancillary content.
Monitor and engage with the GoodTalk Show community on social media, ensuring our brand voice is consistent.
Assist with general office tasks and project management as needed.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, particularly within the music and entertainment space.
Basic experience with video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Graphic design skills are a plus (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Passionate about music, pop culture, and digital content.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Available to work in-office in Brooklyn 3-4 days a week.
