The Creative Department Intern at GoodTalk will play a vital role in supporting various creative initiatives within the label. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to the processes involved in developing and executing creative content, marketing materials, and visual assets for our artists and the label as a whole.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of creative concepts for album covers, promotional materials, merchandise, and other visual assets.
Collaborate with the Creative, Digital Marketing, and Marketing team to create and edit compelling graphics, visuals, and videos for social media platforms, websites, and other promotional channels.
Source and identify skilled videographers, photographers, music video directors, animators, graphic designers, stylists, makeup artists, hair stylists, and creative directors suitable for our artist roster's creative projects.
Develop and maintain a network of creative vendors, including their contact information, portfolios, and areas of expertise.
Help organize and manage the production process for music videos, content shoots, and photoshoots, including scheduling, location scouting, equipment rentals, and set preparation.
Support the on-set production of music videos, content shoots, and photoshoots, ensuring smooth operations and coordinating with vendors and artists.
Assist in post-production processes, such as reviewing edits, providing feedback, and coordinating delivery of final assets.
Foster and maintain strong professional relationships with vendors, nurturing partnerships and seeking opportunities for collaboration on future projects.
Qualifications:
Current enrollment in a relevant college degree program such as music business, entertainment management, film production, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
Familiarity with industry vendors and a strong network or prior relationships with creative professionals is preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Proficiency in using online platforms and tools for research, communication, and portfolio evaluation.
Passion for music, with a solid understanding of various music genres and a keen interest in emerging artists and trends.
Previous experience in music, entertainment, video production, or related creative fields is a plus, but not required.
