Assistant to Attorney

Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher, a boutique entertainment law firm located in Beverly Hills representing top entertainment talent, is seeking an assistant to support a named partner. The firm represents a wide variety of clients, including talent, writers, directors, producers and production companies, across all aspects of motion picture, television and new media.

Responsibilities in this role include:
• Field a high volume of calls, schedule meetings, coordinate travel and manage correspondence.
• Provide excellent client service and professionalism.
• Draft routine correspondence, and proofread and edit documents and agreements.
• Track deal negotiation.

Requirements:
• JD
• Member of California Bar preferred
• Excellent computer and researching skills.
• Experience and comfort with Microsoft office products.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Superior grammar, editing and proofreading abilities.
• Strong interest in the business side of entertainment.
