Good Deed Entertainment seeks a Chief Financial Officer to oversee the company's finance organization, which includes corporate strategy, capital markets and mergers & acquisition transactions, financial planning & analysis, risk management, investor relations, tax, and treasury.
Responsibilities:
Drive long-term strategic financial planning across film, television and emerging sectors and present accurate reporting and timely financial information.
Manage the overall capital structure and liquidity of the company including revolving credit facility.
Evaluate and drive studio-wide new business initiatives, partnerships and capital/debt raises.
Offers recommendations to enhance financial performance and business opportunities
Creating and enforcing accounting and finance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Analyzes cash flow, expenses and all financial statements to pinpoint potential areas for improvements.
Responsible for presenting and reporting accurate and timely historical financial information.
Manage all aspects of monthly financial reporting and close, create new processes and guidelines as needed, including the preparation and review of all financial statements
Oversee day-to-day accounting and reporting
Qualifications:
Minimum: 4 years of experience in accounting and financial management practices
Entertainment experience preferred
CPA preferred
Experience with IPO's and/or M&A's
Well organized and detailed oriented.
High proficiency with Excel and Quickbook skills
Self motivated and able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
