About the Position
The Golden State Warriors are looking for a Senior Web Developer to lead the development of web digital platforms across multiple properties, including the Golden State Warriors, Chase Center and Golden Guardians. This is a critical role that requires hands-on coding and strong peer collaboration to work on projects that drive business outcomes. In this role, you will work with internal and external resources to deliver outstanding digital experiences for fans locally, nationally, and internationally. This position reports to the Director, Consumer Product & Technology and will also have a direct report.

This is a full-time position based in San Francisco, CA (Remote candidates will be considered).
Key Responsibilities
• Set development standards and help drive the strategic technical direction of warriors.com, chasecenter.com, goldenguardians.com and other digital platforms
• Build JavaScript UI applications using the latest web technologies and frameworks
• Lead all aspects of building fully functional digital platforms by using Content Management Systems (CMS)
• Collaborate with internal partners to design and develop technical solutions to meet the needs of the business
• Own projects through the full development life cycle, including gathering requirements, development, testing, debugging, documenting, deploying, monitoring, and supporting post-launch
• Understand and modify existing systems as business requirements change
• Respond to, isolate, and resolve technical issues
• Continuously recommend and improve coding practices
• Provide after-hours and weekend support for systems if/when needed
• Mentor, develop and coach direct report
Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years of web development experience; people management experience preferred
• Strong understanding of UI/UX, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
• Experience with Content Management Systems (Drupal, WordPress, and Contentful)
• Knowledge of front-end languages, libraries, and frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Node.js, React.js, Angular, Gatsby, ES6 and responsive web design)
• Knowledge of server-side programming technologies (Node.js, REST API's, GraphQL, XML/JSON data formats)
• Experience with cloud platforms including Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services
• Experience using code repositories like BitBucket and deploying code using Git
• Ability to provide forward-thinking recommendations with a focus on excellent fan experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong service orientation with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization
• Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
