About the Position
The Golden State Warriors are looking for a proactive and upbeat People Operations Generalist to undertake a wide range of HR tasks, such as organizing trainings and crafting HR policies, as well as responsibility for the day-to-day HR operations. In this role, you will act as the main point of contact for employee questions on HR-related topics. The goal is to ensure the People Operations team runs smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization and our employees. This position reports to the Senior Manager, People Operations.

This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
• Help administer all benefits plans, including health and welfare, 401k, LOAs, and COBRA; responsible for compliance, funding, discrimination testing, and auditing
• Support compensation initiatives and upkeep of job matrix and salary bands
• Provide employee lifecycle support including high volume onboarding and offboarding
• Develop and nurture business partnerships with departments across the organization to ensure a high level of employee satisfaction and engagement
• Resolve basic to moderate employee relations issues; conduct investigations as need
• Serve as the designated front-line main point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, practices, programs, and benefits
• Consult with line management in providing HR guidance when appropriate
• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (i.e. coaching, counseling, career development, etc.)
• Assist and at times lead, policy development efforts; implement and communicate policy changes
• Handle general HR administrative tasks such as generating reports, entering and maintain data in the human resource information system (HRIS), amending job descriptions, and composing correspondence
• Participate in annual and semi-annual performance management processes (i.e., performance reviews, bonus, and merit)
• Recommend employee relations practices necessary to promote a high level of employee morale and motivation
• Other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 5 years of related human resources/people operations experience; PHR certification preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines
• Knowledge of federal and state employment/labor laws
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to analyze data and provide recommendations
• Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidential information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with HRIS systems preferred
• Ability to quickly adapt, embrace, and implement new technology
• Ability to balance multiple projects in a demanding and fast-paced work environment
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
