Production Assistant (Part-Time)
About the Position
We are seeking dedicated Production Assistants to contribute to the dynamic energy on and off the court. A successful individual in this role will be responsible for assisting the day-to-day multimedia operations for the Golden State Warriors. You will help facilitate the production of audio/video content that is distributed across multiple platforms (Digital/TV/Web/etc.) and production of in-game arena entertainment for each Warriors home game and live event hosted at Chase Center. This Production Assistant role will have a focus on video editing.
This is a part-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
• Opportunity to collaborate with various members of Warriors Studio to accomplish multimedia goals –both for in-arena and content production
• Facilitate (record, edit and distribute) various shoots throughout the season such as practices, press conferences and team events/games
• Assist gameday production team in the setup/breakdown of equipment, cutting highlights for social, and other duties as assigned
• Work closely with several Warriors Studio & Chase Center partners to build engaging content for in-arena, web, social and digital
• Assist Media Management in the loading and organization of all video and photos captured
Required Experience & Skills
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro workflows and editing
• Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and After Effects a plus
• Experience operating digital cinema cameras and video/audio equipment needed for shoots
• Familiarity with live sports and event productions
• Ability to effectively communicate, work as a team, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Familiarity with the game of basketball; previous experience a plus
• Additional consideration for experience in motion graphics and animation
Time Commitment
• Must be able to work majority of Warriors home games from September to June (preseason, regular season and potential playoff games)
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work at Warriors HQ on days/nights/weekends/holidays (an average of 29 hours/week)
Physical Demands
• Maintain concentration and focus over long hours
• Carry and operate heavy camera equipment and related gear for extended periods and long distances
• Ability to push/pull/carry and lift up to 50 lbs.
