About the Position
We are looking for a passionate and creative individual to lead the Warriors Community Foundation team while building our brand and supporting educational equity throughout the Bay Area community. In this role, you will lead day-to-day operations and have direct oversight over fundraising and event strategy, financial budgeting and planning, partnership development and community engagement. This position reports to the Chief Revenue Officer.

This full-time position is based onsite in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
• Articulate and promote the mission and values of the Foundation while heightening brand awareness and expanding outreach
• Play a key operational role in designing signature fundraising programs and components; lead fundraising activities and provide day-to-day direction throughout the NBA season
• Partner with the President of the Board to implement and grow the Foundation's giving strategy
• Lead special events including an annual auction and/or gala, game night events, and other special events
• Lead the grant submission and review process; provide consultation to Board of Directors for grant recipients and oversee allocation of funds to grant recipients
• Build support and constructive relationships with Board members, community leaders and sponsorship clientele; implement development strategies to continually engage Board members and constituents
• Plan and organize special programs during off-season to maintain Foundation involvement and impact within the community
• Provide day-to-day management of the Foundation and Generation Thrive teams, including financial planning, operations, marketing communications, and social media presence
• Other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Skills
• Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus on business management, non-profit management, or equivalent work experience
• 10 years leading a philanthropic program with success in foundation management, community engagement, project management, public affairs, communications, and event planning
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to collaborate, influence and build partnerships with a multitude of partners in sports and entertainment, corporate, non-profit, education, government and community environments
• Ability to represent the team at events and in meetings with community and government leaders, corporate partners and other influential partners
• Strong business insight, analytical/operational skills, and program management skills
• A pulse on, and understanding of, the issues facing the Bay Area community
• A passion for professional basketball and live entertainment
Time Commitment
• Ability to work nights, weekend and holidays
Compensation
• $188,000 - 210,000 Bonus
