About the Position
We are looking for a Social Media Editor to help elevate content distributed across Chase Center's social media platforms . The ideal candidate will leverage their understanding of engaging social media content, and bring a skillset in crafting engaging social-first edits. In this role, you will capture, edit, and distribute content across key social platforms, working closely with the wider Marketing team to deliver content across a year-long calendar of venue-specific initiatives and onsite events. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Social Media (Chase Center).

This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
• Film high-quality, engaging short-form videos optimized for social media platforms during events at Chase Center and Thrive City
• Shoot and edit content using professional camera equipment and tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and/or mobile editing apps to deliver content within the fast-pace required of social media content
• Support Social Media team in tentpole brainstorming and distribution plans across Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and YouTube
• Contribute to always-on social media strategy, tapping into brand-appropriate trends and producing engaging content
• Create social content for corporate partners, working within deadlines and approval processes to deliver content
• Stay informed on the evolving social media landscape, including product updates and new tools or features, and provide recommendations to enhance the team's digital presence.

Required Experience & Skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of experience in content creation with hands-on experience in capturing and editing content for social media platforms
• Proficiency filming with a DSLR camera
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop) and mobile editing apps
• Knowledge of current and emerging social media platforms and trends, with the ability to influence content strategy through expertise
• Strong understanding of pop culture, especially surrounding live entertainment
• Ability to build positive working relationships with clients, peers, and team members at all levels of the organization
• Strong written and verbal communication, time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and balance multiple projects simultaneously
Time Commitment
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary
Compensation
• $31.00 - 33.00 per hour Bonus
