About the Position
The Golden State Warriors are looking an upbeat and organized Coordinator to join the Warriors social media team. In this role, you will plan, create and publish Mandarin language content and videos to our Chinese social media channels. This position reports to the Manager, Digital Marketing.
This is an excellent opportunity to create content specific to our Chinese fan base and gain experience in international sports digital marketing.
This is a full-time position based in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the planning and programming of the Warriors' Weibo account; create video content for Chinese social media platforms (e.g., Tencent and Douyin)
• Shoot, edit and produce Mandarin language video content
• Partner with Digital Marketing Manager on organic and partner-related social media concepts and creation
• Plan and execute original digital content based on industry and organizational calendar of events, milestones and marketing initiatives
• Aid in the implementation of industry standards across social channels
• Demonstrate empathy with visitors and fans to ensure their experience is a priority
Required Experience & Skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Fluency in Mandarin, written and verbal
• Minimum 2 years of experience creating social media content for a Chinese audience, preferably within the sports, entertainment or retail industries
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital landscape strategy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop and Premiere (or related video editing software)
• Excellent communication, service and resolution skills
• Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization
• Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
