Assistant Video Coordinator

About the Position

The Assistant Video Coordinator supports the basketball operations department, handling the video coordination of Warriors Basketball. In this role, you are responsible for the planning, implementation, daily operation and maintenance of the process for video analysis and presentation. You will build strong relationships with all Basketball Operations staff and utilize your own basketball insight to develop, collect, and capture the ideal film, analysis, and presentation for your internal customers. This position will provide front office staff, scouts, coaches, and players with the resources needed in the on-going training and development of player skills and team dynamics.

This is a full time seasonal position and is located in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and supervise all Warriors Basketball video coordination operations
• Maintain a video library for all practices, home games, and away games
• Coordinate all video operations for home games, away games and practices
• Produce and edit video projects including but not limited to breakdowns for scouts, breakdown of all opponents' games, Warriors games, practice film, and each opponent's plays and personnel, post-game cut ups, motivational video/highlight clips to the team, and live editing of games and practices
• Manage and maintain all of the video equipment, computers, software and work closely with third party video software system to continually update and upgrade our capabilities. Maintain record of expenses and budgetary needs, working with staff maintain team operating budget.
• Independently composing reports and presentation materials
• Travel with the team and coordinate any video requirements while on the road such as setting up video equipment for coaches to watch film, and filming the away game
• Organize data on opponent player personnel, including offensive and defensive strategies

Required Skills
and Experience
• Professional level coaching and/or playing experience
• Mastery of basketball video software, video camera and breakdown of film.
• In-depth basketball knowledge of personnel, tendencies, patterns and strategies at the professional level
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Strong customer service attitude with respect and sensitivity for cultural differences, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines without direct supervision
• Ability to work in sensitive areas with confidential information and exercise discretion
• Knowledge of all relevant and appropriate NBA and team regulations, policies, and procedures
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
• Willingness to travel with the team and attend every practice and home game. Evenings and weekend hours are required
