About the Position
The Warriors Community Foundation is looking for an upbeat and hardworking assistant to deliver behind-the-scenes support to Generation Thrive, the Golden State Warriors' new non-profit accelerator that supports Bay Area academic-focused non-profits' effectiveness through education and wellness support.
In this role, you will support the Foundation's day-to-day activities, review requests for Generation Thrive and make recommendations that align with our philosophy. Additionally, you will assist with all events as assigned and report to the Director, Social Impact.

This is a full-time position and is based in Oakland, CA with some travel to San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Director and Coordinator in maintaining a calendar of events and activities at both Generation Thrive spaces (Oakland and San Francisco); assist with the day-to-day administrative tasks
• Partner with internal team to craft and execute event logistics; design and build event and program registration pages; provide event-day support for consultants and participants, complete tech checks, etc.
• Create content (i.e., copy, graphics) and schedule posts for Foundation's social media accounts (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
• Regularly promote events via Splash emails and GSW Community newsletter inclusions
• Schedule meetings and manage shipping operations
• Provide proactive service to internal partners and represent organization to external audiences
• Other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 2 years in education or community affairs and/or 1 year of administrative or event management experience
• Experience with digital, social media and traditional marketing expertise highly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; special consideration for experience with Concur, Coupa, and Salesforce
• Excellent written and verbal communication, service and resolution skills
• Impeccable attention to detail and highly organized
• Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization
• Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule including non traditional hours, weekends and game days
