Ticket Taker (Part-Time)
This is a part-time position based in Sacramento, CA.
Willingness and ability to provide proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination will required as a condition of employment. All religious, medical, or other legally recognized exemptions regarding vaccination status will be considered.
Receive and review guest tickets at assigned entrance for the scheduled event by performing the following duties.
Key Responsibility Areas:
• Ensure that tickets are scanned properly upon guests entering the building.
• Assist guests with general directions to their seats.
• Count and bundle tickets, if necessary.
• Assist other ticket takers in counting and bundling tickets, if necessary
• Assist Security in keeping out unauthorized items.
• Make sure guests comply with age/ticket requirements.
• Dispose of any debris in the concourse area.
• Report potential hazards to supervisors immediately.
• Interact with guests to enhance the guest's experience in a friendly professional manner.
Qualifications:
• A friendly, professional demeanor is required always.
• Able to adhere to proper appearance standards.
• Able to work accurately and courteously in a high-pressure environment
• The ideal candidate is available to work evening games and concerts, which includes nights, weekends and holidays.
• The hours will vary from week to week with the scheduled events; you will not be scheduled for every event. Scheduling is based on the needs of the department.
• Shifts will be from 4-8 hours in duration.
• Represented by a IATSE, Local B-66.
• Will know emergency evacuation plan and exit routes and must be able to remain calm and provide direction and guidance in the event of an emergency.
