Like any life altering experience, YOU MUST BE PREPARED TO MAKE A REAL COMMITMENT FOR A PERIOD OF TIME! YOU WON'T LEARN THE TV INDUSTRY OVERNIGHT - THERE ARE NO SHORT CUTS!

For Starters….YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ON A TEAM AT LEAST 4-5 DAYS A WEEK FOR A 3-6 MONTH INTERNSHIP COMMITMENT.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
An Award-winning NYC based TV production company is seeking a TV PRODUCTION INTERN who is a rare mix of an easy going and a master creative force, quick learner, bright self starter, savvy social media promoter (and dog lover) that is looking to join our production team and work on a weekly celebrity driven - entertainment national TV series.

Assist producers on overall TV and Film development, sponsorship, pre/post production process for future projects and promoting episodes and content. This is an exciting opportunity to learn all aspects of the TV biz from industry experts. Only looking for TV/film savvy, super reliable, serious, hardworking, motivated individuals that want to learn and break into the TV industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
-Screen and research daily periodicals and entertainment news sites
-Write Topical and Celebrity News
-Write Celebrity Driven Segments
-Assist Producers and Talent on location and in studio shoots
-Assist Executive Producer with general production support
-General assist in pre and post production process
-Promote content and episode on social media

NECESSARY SKILLS:
-MUST HAVE AT LEAST BEGINNER FINAL CUT PRO 7 SKILLS
-PC AND MAC proficient
-Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Apps
-Genuine interest and general knowledge of Celebrity Entertainment News and Pop Culture
-Proficient in Social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)

MAJOR PLUS:
-Video shooting experience, preferably with DSLRs
-Knowledge of software such as Power Point, AFX, PhotoShop, Pro Tools
-Knowledge of camera, screening, lighting equipment
-Any on the job TV/film studio/location pre/post production experience
-GFX - FX - Audio Sweetening

HOURS: MINIMUM of four days per week. Potential to become full-time paid position. MUST BE ABLE TO COMMIT TO A 3-6 MONTH INTERNSHIP.

Will provide intern with Work station/Wireless in office Internet//Water, Coffee, Tea /Working meals when applicable.
