Summary of Role:
To oversee all marketing and sales strategy and activity across all of Global's direct to consumer properties worldwide, and be directly accountable for driving return across all major marketing channels.
Experience:
-Experience of owning and maintaining a diverse marketing calendar, and managing numerous simultaneous campaign launches.
-Experience in utilizing a work management software, such as Asana or similar
-Experience in developing direct to consumer online marketing strategies across multiple different brands, preferably including brands in the music and entertainment industries
-Experience of working with creative teams to provide clear briefs for the development and delivery of digital assets which will be used as part of all marketing campaigns
-Experience of working across multiple channels, including (but not necessarily limited to):
-Email
-Search
-Social (paid and organic)
-Display - Other media
-Influencer
-Affiliate
-Experience of dealing directly with ad optimization teams to review and assist in the ongoing campaign optimization in order to drive optimal ROAS
-Experience in managing the reporting and review basis to a wider team, and conducting this reviews on a regular (no less than monthly) basis
Responsibilities:
-Work with internal and external stakeholders, to develop marketing strategies, and campaigns across all of Global's worldwide E-Commerce store, across the below channels:
-Own and maintain a marketing calendar for all stores, and make sure that campaigns are delivered on time and on budget and synchronized across all channels and geographies
-Own marketing meetings with the whole worldwide E-Commerce department, reviewing campaign performance and evolving our program of activity as circumstances dictate
-Work with client management to coordinate the launch of campaigns at the correct times
-Be accountable for the financial performance and return of all advertising spend, and report back to the business on this, as well as identifying optimizations and insights to further refine and evolve our marketing strategy
-Coordinate with ad management and creative teams to create clear briefs for marketing campaigns to ensure best in class creative execution
-Line manage a team of staff and partners who provide services across our Digital Creative, Email and paid for acquisition functions
Key KPIs
-Gross sales across all stores worldwide
-ROAS across all campaigns, channels and geographies
Key Attributes:
-Communication skills - Able to build internal and external relationships to understand what is required in terms of marketing and sales for each client store we operate, and deliver campaigns from inception through to delivery
-Creativity- Able to develop marketing campaigns which stand out from the crowd, and engage our audience in new and interesting ways to drive sales, as well as growing the breadth of our marketing channels
-Multi-channel delivery - Ability to deliver campaigns across multiple channels, as well as develop new channels we're not currently exploiting
-Organized - Able to fully own the Global E-Commerce marketing program and develop the tools and processed to manage this and communicate effectively
-Analytical - Ability to review and understand the performance of campaigns, and report this back to the business, as well as pulling out important insights to inform future campaign development
