JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Assistant E-Com Production Manager
Reports to: Senior E-Com Production Manager
Serves/Dept: Ecommerce
Summary of Role:
Assist all merchandise production relating to Global's E-com programs and initiatives. Ensure a seamless production and manufacturing process, from order through final delivery, in line with our GMS and warehouse partners' compliance and fulfillment requirements, and maintain a fluid and commercially viable supply chain.
Job Duties:
Monitor timely sample production/bulk production and subsequently quality control with printers/vendors in accordance GMS compliance requirements. Monitor and troubleshoot delivery of components to printers/vendors. i.e. Blanks, Hang Tags, Size Tags, etc.
Enter Purchase Orders and Sales Orders into Navision. Circulate documents to the corresponding parties. Updated Production WIP with necessary information. Circulate WIP to vendors on a weekly basis to follow up and ensure that all project are mange and report change to appropriate Ecom Staff.
Reviewing and managing Global's art assets for Ecom usage, assets are shared with our vendors and production partners.
Months-ends accounting clean-up: Receive POs in the company's ERP system, clean out MROs and transfer scraps to the SCRAP location, work with accounting to ensure accuracy of invoicing, and investigate and adjust POs according to shipping docs.
Review Vendor packing slip, ERP inventory posting, and warehouse partner receiving reports and reconcile with the appropriate partner to resolve discrepancy
Assist Senior Production manager on yearly warehouse inventory audits
Brainstorm and execute new processes that promote efficiencies with order ingestion and production/sampling.
Assist with the sourcing of new blanks, accessories, and print shops according to the company's needs.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent problem-solving skills are required for this role in addition to excellent multi-tasking abilities.
Substantial knowledge in Screen Printing & Embroidery is required.
The ability to take instruction is paramount, along with the timely management of a varied workload, with pressing deadlines and priorities.
In addition, this candidate must have strong decision-making, negotiating, and problem-solving skills.
This individual must be highly efficient, dedicated to the task at hand and must be able to communicate effectively, have the tenacity to problem-solve and work as a team player.
Additional data entry, spreadsheet maintenance and other tasks is to be also required.
Required Experience & Software Knowledge:
Flexible and adaptable to a very fast-paced environment.
Domestic and International Logistics preferred
3+ Years in Music Merchandise Industry/Supply Chain Management
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Navision and Microsoft Office preferred
Adobe Suite Experience is preferred
Pantone Color Experience preferred
