Key Responsibilities
The HRBP will work very closely with the Executive Leader of Global Content and Media who is based out of the Los Angeles office. The HRBP will be responsible for proactively delivering support to global employees and managers. In addition to providing guidance to your internal clients in fields such as org design, change management, compensation, talent management, employee relations, people metrics, training & development, and legal compliance, you will also implement divisional strategic initiatives in conjunction with overall company initiatives.
More specifically:
Works closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development.
Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of people issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach.
Responsible for ensuring employees are on and off boarded in a seamless and professional manner and ensure all compliance requirements are met.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Provide day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, career development, disciplinary actions).
Work closely with management and employees to improve working relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
Conducts ongoing supply and demand analysis for business they support on current and future state staffing; facilitates skill needs assessments and designs talent acquisition strategies to meet current and future state of operation.
Qualifications
BA degree or equivalent
7-10 years practical HR experience; must have experience in providing HR support to a global organization
Must have experience in org design and divisional transformation
Prior experience navigating in a fast-paced global company structure
Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, evaluate people, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Must be well organized and structured to ensure a high level of customer services to the leadership team
Areas of interest and intrinsic competencies
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to navigate successfully in a fast paced, multi-tasking, assertive and dynamic organization along with significant influence/negotiation skills
Must have outstanding interpersonal, influence and communication skills, both verbal and written
