Internship Duration: Tuesday, September 8th, 2026 to end of the year (December 31st, 2026)
Time/Days Required: 2-3 days/ week on site at our NYC facility

Sound engineering students, recent graduates, or applicants with a foundational proficiency in Pro Tools are welcome to apply.

Candidates should meet the following criteria to be considered:
Availability to commit to 2 or 3 business days on site at the studio between the hours of 10am - 6pm.
Strong interest in post-production, sound editing and mixing.
Experience with and understanding of Avid Pro Tools.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to proactively identify or mitigate challenges.
Ability to follow direction and take constructive feedback

Responsibilities may include:
Assist sound engineers and post producers with various aspects of post production workflow including the sound editorial process (sound design, dialogue editing, sound effects editing, foley), live recording, and rudimentary systems engineering.
Assist post producers with project organization and client outreach by keeping information up to date in our CRM and internal tracking tools.
Read scripts and watch picture cuts to help identify a project's sound needs, such as key sound design moments or other post-production considerations for the quotation process.
Support with client-facing and day-to-day studio needs, including helping welcome clients at reception, preparing for sessions, and maintaining studio spaces.
Watch down projects for quality control, checking for technical issues, missing elements, or anything that needs to be flagged before delivery.

Providing general support, such as making runs and pitching in on miscellaneous tasks that keep the studio running smoothly.
