Get Engaged is a leading full-service digital marketing agency with a focus in the music industry and influencer marketing. We are looking to hire a Digital Graphic Designer with 3-4 years of social media experience at an agency or in-house studio. The ideal candidate is someone with a well-rounded background who has an enthusiastic passion for design, and a creative flair. This individual is an excellent communicator with a keen attention to detail, excels at handling multiple client needs simultaneously, and willing to make changes to creative projects based on constructive feedback.
Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize, design and produce creative content specifically for social assets
• Effectively manage multiple projects, clients, and timelines in order to turn around projects quickly and efficiently, while communicating progress to Creative Services Manager daily
• Ability to prepare and present concepts/layouts/projects to clients and account managers
• Typical projects day-to-day would include: Instagram feed and story graphics, social media banners, highlight covers, proposals/presentations, image presets, cover art, logos, merch design, giphy stickers, Spotify canvases and playlist covers, billboards, etc.
• Assist in video and photo production including conceptualizing, planning, shooting, and editing of video and stills (including photo retouching, color-correcting, and creating presets) to be used across social channels
• Ensure visual designs adhere to the project requirements and timelines while upholding the client's standards
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3+ years of design experience in an agency or in-house studio
• B.A. in Graphic Design
• Well rounded Portfolio or website demonstrating your creative abilities
• Proficient in Adobe Create Suite applications, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects and Sketch
• Strong digital background and ability to design across all social media platforms - Instagram, Twitter, TikTok videos, Youtube edits, Facebook, etc.
• Creative thinker with strong artistic skills to support it - this person should have the ability to take concepts discussed in strategy meetings and bring them to life in a creative visual way that supports both the client's brand and project objectives
• Excellent visual/conceptual skills
• Knowledge of social media requirements and terminology
• Excellent organizational skills
• Takes creative criticism well
• Eagerness to challenge yourself to create something truly unique and specific for our clients
