GENUINE: The Real People Company powered by Strickman-Ripps, Inc., New York's premier real people commercial casting company, is looking for an outgoing, highly motivated full-time Administrative/Casting Assistant.
The primary role of the Administrative / Casting Assistant is to perform Production and Casting duties as needed under the direction of the Executive Producer and Coordinating Producer, and to maintain day to day office functions and organization as directed by the Operations Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: casting outreach and research, helping to prep and wrap jobs, basic video editing, maintenance of camera and video equipment, database entry, and general office maintenance and administrative duties.
The ideal candidate is professional, proactive, dependable, highly organized, and detail oriented. A strong communicator, this person must be friendly and articulate, excelling in writing and speaking both in-person and on the phone with varied groups of people. This position requires a self-motivated person with experience working in a fast-paced office setting who also possesses the ability to collaborate successfully and 'go with the flow'. They possess rock solid organization skills, are attentive to detail, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, familiar with MAC computers/programs and willing to learn new programs and online tools.
Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Mac OS, Gmail and Google Suite a must; familiarity with all social media platforms, online posting, file-sharing, research and email marketing tools preferred. Working knowledge of camera equipment, lighting, audio, video editing and speaking/writing in more than one language a plus.
