DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
Position: We are looking for a strategic, creative, and entrepreneurial marketing consultant for 15-20 hours per week, to start. This position will direct, oversee and manage marketing initiatives in order to grow the listening audience for our expanding slate of GZM shows, with special emphasis on TOMORROW and the SIX MINUTES franchise, as well enhance the profile of the company in the podcast industry and Hollywood. Currently, the marketing team consists of a Social Media Manager, as well as a public relations firm. The job can be performed remotely. B2C success will be measured in the increase in listening audience.
Duties:
Create sustainable plans to launch, market and grow each show.
Create and build a GZM Youtube presence.
Create and own goals and performance metrics for campaigns; monitor regularly to understand efficiency of strategy and creative, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Oversee the creation of animation assets for each show.
Oversee of development of visual assets including key art.
Design surveys of our listening audience.
Point with the Wondery marketing team.
Lead full B2C and B2B marketing process from strategy and development to copywriting and execution.
Requirements:
10 years + Marketing experience required
Social media fluency required
Strong writing ability required
Agency experience a plus
Broadway/entertainment experience a plus
A passion for family entertainment and podcasts
