Winter Intern – Independent Film Acquisitions & Distribution

Duration: Approximately 3.5–4 months
Time Commitment: 6–8 hours per week (flexible)
Workplace Requirements: Remote participation is acceptable

Overview:
This internship offers a hands-on introduction to the world of independent film acquisitions, financing, and distribution. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to understand how indie films are discovered, evaluated, and brought to market — and to build a foundation for a career in distribution or acquisitions.

What You’ll Do:

* Conduct research using IMDbPro and other industry tools to support acquisitions work.
* Evaluate films and scripts for potential representation.
* Assist with festival preparation and related marketing or sales materials.
* Contribute to general administrative and organizational support as needed.

* Strong organizational skills and reliability — must be responsible!
* Efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time independently.
