Hybrid creative agency & production company in West Hollywood is seeking a qualified & experienced post-production assistant to assist in all facets of post-production. We are a full service agency & post house that specializes in videogame marketing & advertising. We are equal parts edit, game capture, live action, and mograph. Some of our projects incorporate all four. Most of our projects are short-form. To be considered, candidates MUST have strong technical and organizational abilities. Individuals must be eager to learn, stellar communicators & team members, organized, and most importantly, problem solvers. The person in this role will ensure all postings, and deliverables are met.
Responsibilities Include:
• Assisting with all I/O for the studio
• Creating and quality controlling all client postings
• Creating all digital deliverables, and quality controlling everything that leaves the department
• Editorial data management
• Archival management
• Prepping editorial work stations
• Prepping timelines for color sessions
Core Qualifications / Requirements:
• Very good organizational and project management skills required.
• Familiarity with offline editorial workflows
• Must love keeping all the tops spinning at all times & be able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• High technical proficiency in FCP 7 & Premiere required.
• Sharp attention to detail in QC. You will perform quality control on all assets, renders, and masters. You will coordinate the delivery of finished materials to the end destination.
• Understanding of file-based HD workflows between editorial and color/Resolve, editorial and AE, editorial and ProTools, 3D workflows etc.
• Experience with XML project transfers between editing & design environments.
• Familiarity with various HD camera formats & associated transcoding workflow. (RED, Alexa, Canon D-SLRs, GoPro, etc.)
• Familiarity with professional and compression codecs a must.
