FYI is looking for a dynamic and driven Entertainment/Talent Publicist Account Executive to join the expanding LA Team. The AE position requires 3-5 years of hands-on public relations field experience working within our talent division, entertainment, music, sports, and social impact celebrity clients. The role will entail pitching various genres of media across broadcast, print, digital, podcasts, and more. You will be expected to already have a selection of strong media relationships and consistently build existing/new relationships, craft impactful storytelling around our celebrity clients' brands, work with talent bookers, oversee and execute strategies for an array of clients, and work closely with the company's staff: Account Coordinators, VP, CEO, and agency clients/partners.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
Day to day direct supervision for talent division celebrity clients
Working alongside the CEO & VP on topline short and long-term strategy
Engaging with the media and pitching, on a daily basis, to secure covers, features, and editorial placements for clients spanning music releases, timely launches, and evergreen press
Delegating to junior staff and semester interns
Securing new business leads & drafting new business proposals to be reviewed by senior staff
Monitoring press coverage on celebrity clients (as well as their personal social media and popular pop culture accounts i.e. TMZ, TSR, People, etc.)
Overseeing the creation of monthly/summary reports, as well as researching and maintaining editorial calendars and media lists with support for the agency
Providing real-time client updates to full team & on staff calls
Development of client press materials including press releases, media alerts, style IDs, ICYMIs, post events, brand decks, and more
REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 years experience managing accounts in a PR agency
3-5 years experience in entertainment (specifically in music and sports, dealing directly with celebrity accounts)
Experience working with high-profile talent & their teams and high-level media in broadcast, print, and digital media, print/digital magazine covers, and TV/award show talent bookers
Strong writing and verbal communication skills are required
Strong relationships across broadcast, music, fashion, sports, business, humanitarian, and pop culture media
Self-starter, adaptable, and multitasker with the ability to delegate duties to a team
Heavy pitching experience with proven contacts/placements across broadcast, print, digital, and nontraditional media
