Senior Executive Assistant, Development (FX)
Job Summary:
FX is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the Executive Vice President of Development. Responsibilities include heavy scheduling, tracking and logging incoming material, and answering phones.
Responsibilities:
• Schedule meetings, answer phones, make travel arrangements, handle expense reports, and various other administrative tasks to support the EVP, Development
• Track, log, and manage incoming submissions of written and visual material and keep an accurate account of all materials that are submitted, including scripts, cuts, outlines, and submissions
• Serve as the liaison to other departments for information on series, communicating accurate show information to talent agents and internal partners and managing high-volume information flow confidentially
• Support the department and other executives as needed, including scheduling studio meetings, updating department records, and researching various properties and/or arenas to potentially develop into series
Basic Qualifications
• 2+ years previous work experience at a talent agency, production company studio or network with a solid grasp of the entertainment business
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a positive, collaborative working style and the ability to interact professionally with senior executives, talent, and their representatives
• Highly organized and resourceful, with strong attention to detail, the ability to anticipate needs, and proven success managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Able to manage and disseminate tasks punctually and properly
• High level of confidentiality, judgment, and integrity in handling sensitive information and materials.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate scripts and other creative materials in relation to development projects
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Words, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting an SVP or above preferred
• Knowledge and passion for entertainment and media
• Undergraduate degree
Salary/Benefits
$65,272 - $87,560 /year USD
The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
