Manager, Print Trade Design (FX)
Are you fearless? At FX, we are seeking a Manager of Print Trade Design to support the development and execution of multiple award campaign visuals including high profile outdoor, digital, and print components for FX original programming – while working closely with our public relations department. If you have the skills and experience to create eye-catching imagery that elevates and celebrates FX Networks' catalog of award-winning content, then this could be the role for you!
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute award campaign visuals for the SAG Awards, Golden Globes, AFI Awards and multiple Guild award seasons.
• Collaborate on campaign strategy for winter awards consideration.
• Research shows, talent, competitive sets, quote/review content and FX brand identity considerations.
• Provide creative direction to the Trade Designer and outside agencies in the development of FYC graphic design including OOH, print, digital, and non-FYC quote ads.
• Manage workflows, select typographic and color, edit photographs and manage Photo Retouches.
Requirements:
• 5+ years' design experience, including managing campaigns.
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with all levels, from designers to senior-level executives
• Strong understanding of typography and photo editing skills
• Conceptual thinker with an eye for creating cohesive visuals
• Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred:
• Print production and photoshoot art direction experience a plus
Education:
• 4-year degree, preferably in Advertising or Fine Art or equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position in Century City, CA is $112,100 to $150,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
