FX Networks is seeking an Associate of Awards to support FX awards submissions and campaigns. The Associate will share in the management and oversight of all entries and campaign-related tasks. This includes managing content and assets for entry, FYC and awards ceremonies, and collaborating closely with FX Events and Talent Relations on FYC events. This position works closely with the Director, Awards to support FX original series and its talent in the best possible light.
Responsibilities:
• Work with the Director of Awards on annual awards submissions inclusive of managing execution across all appropriate awards opportunities.
• Oversee process, timeline and approvals for all awards outreach.
• Work in tandem with the Director, Awards on FYC workflow including FYC ads, member blasts, and screening code access for voters.
• Partner with all Awards consultants, setting meetings, taking notes, and ensuring clear communication between FX and our consultants.
• Collaborate with and Co-Manage all Guild and TV Academy FYC event and panel needs with the FX Events team.
• Collaborate with and Co-Manage with the FX Talent Relations teams on oversight of talent, producer, and executive requirements for all award show attendees.
• Responsible for selecting, reviewing, routing, and submitting all clips necessary for both awards submissions and award show needs.
• Maintain FX awards database and all recordkeeping, keeping information up to date and press-ready.
Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years previous experience in entertainment awards, publicity or talent relations preferred, including 1 year of awards or creative services experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and assess costs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Filmmaker Pro. Familiarity with Photoshop a plus.
• Highly organized, professional, motivated, and extremely detail-oriented with strong prioritization skills.
• Must have ability to multitask, work well under pressure and work effectively under changing priorities, deadlines, and daily time constraints.
Required Education
• 4-year college degree required.
**Please note, this role is in office 4x/week (Monday-Thursday) & working from home on Friday, sitting in our Century City location, but will be moving to Burbank end of 2025.
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $69,200.00 to $95,100.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
