This is a Part Time Paid Internship
Fall Intern, Part-time, Nonexempt Location: Beverly Hills
Reports to: Publicity/marketing team with a dotted line to development team
The intern will support the publicity/marketing team by streamlining its social calendar, monitoring media coverage, and will serve as a liaison between our development team and public relations to ensure collaboration between both departments.

You are a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a genuine passion for social media and an intuitive understanding of current trends, particularly on TikTok and Instagram. You are not only social media savvy but also deeply immersed in the ever-evolving digital landscape, staying ahead of the curve on what's trending. A strong interest in the comedy space is essential, as you will be contributing to campaigns that require a sharp sense of humor and cultural awareness.
A background in marketing is a great plus, you have the foundational knowledge necessary to contribute effectively to our publicity efforts. You enjoy reading, very important as this will help you stay informed, inspired and up-to date on all of the projects on our development slate. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy creative collaboration, and are excited to play a role in bringing our projects to life through innovative publicity strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Write and distribute a culture report for the company, serving as an internal newsletter that highlights key industry happenings, events, trends, and organizational updates.
• Develop and maintain monthly editorial calendars to promote company projects and brands across our various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
• Conduct research on target audiences and track industry trends, relevant hashtags (with a focus on film/TV), and competitors; present insights during weekly meetings
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm innovative content ideas and campaigns
• Monitor and optimize the company's social media presence across multiple platforms
• Assist in developing marketing materials for new releases and productions
• Liaise with development and PR/marketing teams to track production updates
• Provide EOD status updates to the PR/marketing team
Requirements:
• A degree in Public Relations, Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
• Tech and social media savvy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to commit at least 18 hours per week for the duration of the internship
