FuseFX has an opening in New York! We have opportunities at our studio for an experienced and talented Tracker with a background in television and/or feature film VFX to join our creative team.
FuseFX is an Emmy-award winning visual effects and animation studio focused on producing photo-real digital effects for feature film, episodic television, and commercials.
Responsibilities:
Camera, rigid object tracking and character match-moving
Scene and camera layout
Previz when needed
Integration of onset data
Traits of a successful FuseFX Tracker:
Experience tracking shots in Syntheyes or 3d Equalizer
Strong knowledge of Layout in 3DSMax or Maya
Strong computer aptitude: Knowledge of Syntheyes or 3d Equalizer, Maya or 3DSMax, and Nuke
At least 5 years' animation experience
Camera knowledge and on set skills a plus
Ability to learn facility pipeline to be able to provide cameras and layouts to the other departments
Experience and knowledge of fast turnaround television work
Strong critical thinking on layout and pipeline procedures are essential to the position
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Must take direction well and implementing changes with quick turn around
Strong organization, problem-solving, and project management; attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Commitment to excellence and willingness to work in a team environment in achieving goals and completing projects
