FuseFX has an opening in New York! We have opportunities at our studio for an experienced and talented Production Data I/O Coordinator who assist in the management of artist resources and project data for our New York office.
This hybrid role involves acting as a resource for artist assignments, maintaining and distributing schedules, and assisting with daily internal production management tasks and workloads. The Coordinator also serves as a liaison with the Production team to facilitate staffing and managing of resources. In addition, this role will be responsible for the support and management of data flow including gathering, logging and dispersing material to support the various departments at FuseFX.
FuseFX is an Emmy-award winning visual effects and animation studio focused on producing photo-real digital effects for feature film, episodic television, and commercials.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Production Manager in communicating task priorities, deadlines and show schedules
Additional resource for artist assignments and tracking project schedules
Involved in vetting time-off request forms, disseminate those requests to various outlets such as schedules/ calendars/ etc.
Liaison between supervisors, producers, artists and other departments to ensure smooth communication
Support and distribute various in-house scheduling documents (ie. out schedules, timesheets, time off requests and coverage)
Ensures information in company Database is accurate and up-to-date
Provide prompt and secure handling of all material received and sent from the facility
Log, track, QC and communicate with production teams after receiving or delivery materials via drive, FTP, Aspera, Signiant, etc.
Assist in upkeep and maintenance of network and web-based storage space
Inventory storage space including the Archiving and De-archiving of data
Develop strategies to help manage unstructured data
Traits of a successful FuseFX Production/Data IO Coordinator:
Bachelor's degree in film, art, communications, or related field
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft office
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude with the ability to adapt quickly under pressure
Flexible schedule; available to work nights or weekends as needed
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Mac and Windows
Desire to learn and grow as a department facing production resource
