FuseFX has an opening in Los Angeles! We have opportunities at our studio for an experienced and talented FileMaker Developer with a background in television and/or feature film VFX to join our technology team.
FuseFX is an Emmy-award winning visual effects and animation studio focused on producing photo-real digital effects for feature film, episodic television, and commercials.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and develop custom FileMaker database
Work to fix bugs and help to define new functionality based on requests from users
Assist in defining database structure with a focus on speed and efficiency
Traits of a successful FuseFX FileMaker Develper:
5 years experience with FileMaker development in a commercial environment on Mac and Windows
Strong knowledge of relational database design
Good design skills with a focus on efficiency and user experience
Knowledge of FileMaker plug-ins and their use when applicable
Knowledge of Python and PHP scripting languages
Familiarity with Image file formats including JPG, DPX, EXR, QuickTime
Experience with AppleScript and command-line statements
BS degree or equivalent
Certified FileMaker developer
Knowledge of Visual Effects processes.
Experience with multi-site database synchronization
Knowledge of Active Directory
Knowledge of networking and storage systems
HTML / CSS / JavaScript programming
Familiar with MySQL databases
