Job Summary:
The Data I/O Coordinator is responsible for gathering, logging and dispersing material to support the various departments at FuseFX. The applicant will be expected to review and verify the accuracy of information, prepare reports and manage data storage to and from our internal network. Applicants must have strong communication skills as this position requires significant collaboration with all departments.
All of FuseFX's technical roles involve both technical and interpersonal components, ensuring systems are technically sound while maintaining open communication both within the department and with production teams.
Responsibilities:
• Strong interest in and some experience with visual effects
• Provide prompt and secure handling of all material received and sent from the facility
• Log, track, QC, and communicate with production teams after receiving or delivery materials via drive, FTP, Aspera, Signiant, etc.
• Assist in upkeep and maintenance of network and web based storage space.
• Maintain inventory for equipment.
• Identifying discrepancies and/or errors in data and forwarding to Producers/Supervisors accordingly.
• Inventory storage space.
• Archive and De-archive of data.
• Develop strategies to help manage unstructured data.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Has the ability to work under rigid deadlines and occasional erratic schedules.
• Is an excellent communicator (oral and written)
• Is a strong multi-tasker, with experience with organizing and managing multiple priorities
• Is very detail oriented and able to concentrate for long periods of time.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Mac and Windows.
