Full Time Job
• • Fuse is currently seeking an ambitious Talent Coordinator/Casting Assistant to coordinate and assist with heavy outreach and general up-keep of departmental needs. This person will be responsible for searching and identifying diverse talents in music and pop culture to cast on production shows for both digital and linear according to show specifications. This position reports to the Head of Talent and is based in our Glendale, CA office. The person hired may work remote, although occasional visits to the Glendale office may be required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare and coordinate pitches, as well as proof one-sheets, prepare casting sheets, and update grids
• Coordinate risk management, work with internal content studio and third-party production companies on scheduling and updating talent bookings
• Schedule calls and meetings on behalf of the talent department
• Assist with social media scrubs, coordinating travel if necessary
• Ensure talent comply with COVID-19 vaccination polies and procedures while on set; also follow-up and ensure talent agreements are signed.
• Serve as liaison between the talent/casting department, production, and other areas
• Communicate booking updates on a regular basis
• Manage artist schedules, handle all hospitality requests, legal & promo paperwork, and coordinate visit details with content studio & network headquarters
• Assist department head with talent contracts and invoices as needed
• Build and nurture relationships with talent and talent reps
• Maintain databases and organize documents, i.e., track client agreements and expiration dates, programming calendars, etc.
• Oversee talent process on projects from start to finish
• Ensure logistics are in place to support the success all shows in production
QUALIFICATIONS
• 2-3 years’ experience in talent booking for linear and digital shows
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent related work experience required
• Experience working on high volume shows, dealing with all levels of talent and reps
• Must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of google docs, Slack, Pages and Apple/Mac programs
• Must understand the talent casting process, which includes developing ideas, profiling personalities, matching to creative brief, researching social and analyzing engagement
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Must be on-site for filming with talent
