• • The Digital Distribution Manager works with Fuse’s digital distribution partners to deliver and market the best viewing experiences to Fuse customers. This role is responsible for the day-to-day communication, relationship management and ongoing promotional activities for Fuse’s FAST (free ad-supported streaming television) and SVOD partnerships. The role is responsible for all aspects of ongoing partnership management including subscriber acquisition, engagement/retention, technical cooperation, joint marketing initiatives and any/all other efforts. The role reports to the Director of Audience Development and is based in our New York office. The person hired may work remote, although occasional visits to the NY office may be required.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as day-to-day contact with distribution partners and coordinate Fuse’s marketing and promotional opportunities on streaming platforms (i.e., Samsung TV Plus, The Roku Channel, Vizio, Xumo, etc.)
• Grow viewership and audience by developing strong partner relationships and a deep understanding of best practices on each service to inform internal stakeholders how to effectively grow audiences
• Represent the Fuse content avails in meetings and presentations with distribution partners (VOD) to achieve greater visibility of Fuse content
• Present new content to streaming distribution partners and work with platforms’ Editorial teams to support initiatives with relevant content
• Collaborate effectively across internal departments including Social, Brand Creative, Digital Operations, Content Strategy, Ad Sales, Legal, Finance, and Media Relations
• Assist in the business development of new and existing OTT platforms and identify new opportunities for expansion
• Maintain understanding of competitive marketplace including positioning of other content providers, distribution platforms and new initiatives in the OTT space
• Work with Director of Audience Development and VP of Digital Operations to ensure deal fulfillment and distribution strategy is properly executed
• Coordinate performance insight meetings with external partners and actionable opportunities with internal stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS
• 3-5 years’ experience in digital distribution, digital TV platforms, project management or account management
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent related work experience required
• Comprehensive understanding of the multiplatform digital content landscape
• Experience managing partnerships across multiplatform landscape (VOD, FAST, AVOD, SVOD)
• Working knowledge of content needs/strategy of both current and emerging digital platforms
• Strategic thinker and creative problem solver
• Team player with high personal integrity and impeccable communication and prioritization skills
