Temp to Perm Legal Assistant
This person will provide administrative support to Head of Legal and Business Affairs as well as periodically supporting the CFO/COO in an administrative capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting and reviewing business affairs correspondence, maintaining legal files and databases, option calendars, researching guild issues, preparing deal summaries and scheduling meetings and calls.
Send and manage drafts, memos and other documents and correspondence as appropriate
Work on special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
Schedule supervisors' appointments, maintain and updates supervisors' daily calendar; Arrange travel itineraries and prepare travel and expense reports; Schedule, organize and coordinate internal and external meetings
Perform other administrative duties and support day to day operations
Requirements:
Some executive administrative experience within a fast-paced entertainment or media company
Quick learner; Ability to read and interpret legal contracts
Bachelor's Degree
JD degree and admission to CA state bar desirable
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to apply a significant level of discretion due to exposure to highly confidential information
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Positive attitude, and willingness to learn
Well-organized, detail-oriented and highly-motivated
Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
Ability to multi-task and work as an integral member of a dynamic work environment
Desire to be a team player and work with many different departments and levels of employees''
