Full Scope PR is seeking an enthusiastic Account Executive with a proven track record of pitching and securing media placements to join our growing team! The ideal candidate is a creative and a proactive go-getter looking to join a positive and collaborative work environment. We're open to a range of PR backgrounds from talent, lifestyle, music, corporate, and sports sectors, etc. This job is in-office Monday through Friday.
As a full-service Los Angeles based public relations firm, Full Scope PR specializes in strategic communications, media management, brand development, growth strategizing and community connection, with an ever-evolving expertise in entertainment, brand, corporate and philanthropy sectors.
Qualifications:
• Must have great media relations skills and established media contacts preferred
• Ability to manage multi-faceted, high-volume campaigns
• Experience working with celebrity/high-profile clientele and client facing
• Broad industry knowledge of important pop culture happenings
• Client relations skills, ability to assert industry expertise, while building strong relationships with clients, the media and other employees in the company
• Strong strategizing abilities
• Must be a team player and work well in fast paced environment
• Excellent writing and communications skills required, as well as strong editing skills with an attention to detail
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coming up with positive news coverage about clients or products, cooperating with clients and media on a daily basis to come up with new content
• Constantly monitoring media and social media to find exciting opportunities for clients
• Develop and distribute press releases to the media
• Secure press coverage in key media outlets
• Ability to manage several accounts simultaneously
• Complete client and editor requests within a timely manner
• Act as the main contact for client communication and contribute to weekly meetings
• Maintaining extensive and meticulously updated contacts lists / databases
• Demonstrate a positive, self- motivating attitude while managing time efficiently
• Exhibit strong communication and seasoned writing skills
• Be detail oriented and able to multitask in a well-organized manner
Requirements:
2-3 years of full-time public relations experience (agency or in-house)
Bachelor's degree in related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven success in pitching TV, print and digital media
Strong assignment and people management skills
*Must already be based in the LA area
