Are you passionate about storytelling, content creation, and the ever-evolving world of media? As a Creative Development Intern in our Production Division, you'll gain firsthand experience and valuable insight into the creative development process for brand campaigns, podcasts, and unscripted television. This internship is designed to be an immersive learning experience, giving you the tools and knowledge to navigate the world of media and content creation.
We're looking for culture-savvy creatives who are curious, constantly exploring, and have a sharp eye for what's resonating with their peers online. If you're always generating fresh ideas, love creative problem-solving, and enjoy turning concepts into reality, this internship is for you!
This is an unpaid internship, and candidates must be able to receive academic credit from their college or university. Ideal candidates should be able to commit to at least 2 days a week, pending credit approval requirements. Exact start date and internship season (Spring or Summer) is flexible based on the candidate's school schedule.
Key Responsibilities
• Research industry trends, cultural moments, and emerging content formats to inform development decisions.
• Compile and present research findings in a clear and compelling way.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions, generating fresh and innovative content ideas.
• Assist in developing original concepts for internal projects and external clients.
• Stay up to date on cultural trends and shifts-AKA, always knowing what's happening in the world!
What We're Looking For
• Creative mindset - you always have ideas brewing and love contributing to brainstorms.
• Passion for content - strong interest in development, television, digital media, and pop culture.
• Strong writing skills - clear, concise, and engaging, with basic copy editing abilities.
• Tech-savviness - proficiency in Canva and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for creating and formatting presentations.
• Research skills - ability to collect, analyze, and present insights in an organized, compelling manner.
• Proactive attitude - a self-starter who takes initiative and sees projects through.
• Team player - thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys creative teamwork.
