Thank you for applying for the FremantleMedia North America Intern Program for Summer 2013. The program is designed to provide an in-depth exposure to professional television production. The FMNA Production Department offers a versatile and unique opportunity to experience the television industry from the inside out, ideal for the student interested in pursuing a career in television production. The internship will provide students an opportunity to get involved with the daily operations of a large production entity and is designed to give qualified, full-time students in depth exposure to professional television production, techniques, and practices.
Internship Duties:
• Aiding in general production responsibilities
• Determine 1 or 2 projects to complete by internship end, directly associated with students interest and the department.
• Attend and assist productions, as opportunity arises.
• Provide support for a variety of diverse projects that will provide exposure to the entire gamut of TV production.
• Make phone calls, as requested.
• Perform some administrative tasks

• Learn budgeting and Fremantle Media company structure
• Gain a better understanding of the logistic side of producing
• Be exposed to the different levels of producing
• Be exposed to the different styles of producing
• Be exposed to a diversity of production ( types of projects)
• Be a better creative producer ( exposure to development)
• Have a better understanding of the roles and responsibilities of other crew members.
• Establish relationships and a network in LA
Requirements:
• Applicants must be currently enrolled and in good standing in a college or university
(Documentation will be required)
• Applicants should be available to work 20-30 hours a week
• Applicants should be eligible to receive credit ( this is a non-paid position)
• Must be proficient in MS Office and Internet Research
• Previous production experience a plus
• Must be able to work well under pressure
• Highly motivated
• Strong interest in television production
• Strong organizational and research skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to take direction and work independently
• Ability to adapt from project to project
• Wiling to take on all aspects of the job with enthusiasm and a positive attitude
