Job Description: This position serves as primary support for the BUZZR team. This role will report directly to the Senior Manager, Programming.
Job Responsibilities:
• Support Sr. Manager, Programming on the following:
o Coordinate for the retrieval and QC of library content
o Actively screen content for technical as well as S&P issues
o Work with editor to prepare and deliver content to playout vendor, prioritizing and revising episodes as needed
o Ensure closed captions are completed and delivered, prioritizing captions as needed
o Work with Wide Orbit Program to upload episode metadata, create schedules, and execute schedule changes
o Collaborate with Sr. Manager, Programming in the preparation of stunt materials
o Generate and distribute weekly programming schedules and quarterly E/I reports
o Maintain Programming Dept. documents, such as Episode Order & Rollout
• Work with Traffic, Marketing, Social and On-Air Creative teams as needed
• Arrange travel for team with outside agency
• Handle administrative duties for SVP, GM
• Handle PO's & invoicing for BUZZR Team
• Special Projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
• 1-2 Years' experience in broadcast/cable TV or linear digital content
• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with Wide Orbit Program, or similar content scheduling software
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, strong skills a plus
• Highly organized, excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Must be highly collegial and willing to collaborate with multiple departments
• Love of TV game shows, both past and present a major a major plus
• Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Must be a team player
