The Opportunity:
This is an unpaid internship for college credit or portfolio building, but we are looking to grow our core team. A formal performance review will be conducted at the end of the term with the explicit opportunity to transition into a paid position based on performance and channel growth.
What You'll Do (1-2 Positions Available):
• Cut & Polish Clips: Watch / listen to weekly episodes of Idiot of the Week (YouTube/Audio) and The Final Word (Audio) to identify the absolute funniest, most biting, and highly engaging moments.
• Platform Optimization: Edit these moments into high-energy, vertical short-form videos (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) complete with punchy captions, dynamic text overlays, and sound design.
• Content Delivery: Package and schedule 3-5 high-quality clips per week across our social channels to drive listener and viewership growth.
What We're Looking For:
• Proficient in video editing software (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or Descript).
• An innate understanding of social media pacing, trends, algorithms, and meme culture.
• A great sense of humor-you need to know exactly where the ''punchline'' hits to make a clip work.
• Reliable, communicative, and able to hit strict weekly deadlines.

We are Frangela (Frances Callier and Angela V. Shelton)-comedians, actors, and hosts of the highly established podcasts The Final Word and Idiot of the Week. We provide weekly political commentary, cultural deep-dives, and absolute comedy chaos. We are expanding our digital footprint and looking for a creative, witty video editor to join the team and help turn our weekly shows into viral digital content.
